what we believe

  • Jesus Christ is the Son of God.  He was born of a virgin and He walked upon and ministered on the earth.  He died on the cross, arose from the dead, and is now seated at the right hand of God.  Matthew 1:23, Mark 1:1, Mark 16:19, Luke 24:6, John 19:17-18
  • When believers are surrendered to the Holy Spirit, He is free to manifest Himself and operate in and through their lives.  Acts 10:38
  • The Acts chapter two experience of the infilling of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues is available to all believers.  Matthew 3:11, John 14:16-17, Acts 1:8, Acts 2:4, Acts 2:38
  • Water baptism is an ordinance of the church and gives evidence to the world of the new birth in a believer’s life.  Matthew 28:19, Acts 8:36-39, Romans 6:4, Colossians 2:12
  • Jesus Christ was made to be sin that we might be made righteous.  He was made a curse that we might be redeemed.  He was made sick that we might be healed.  He was made poor that we might be made rich. Romans 3:23-24, 2 Corinthians 8:9
  • All of God’s Word is true and can be acted upon today with the confidence that He will confirm it with signs and wonders.  Proverbs 30:5,  Hebrews 2:4
  • In the “Rapture of the Church”, the entire Body of Christ will go to meet Jesus in the air and will be with Him forever.  1 Thessalonians 4: 15-18
