For 20 years, Jeanie served her pastor, Sam Carr, at Word of Life Center, in Shreveport, Louisiana.   She has worked in all areas of the local church, including cell groups, ministry of helps, youth and children’s ministry and was the Director of Word of Life School of Ministry for seven years, as well as an Associate Pastor for 10 years. She helped found three churches, both in the United States and abroad. Jeanie graduated from Kenneth E. Hagin’s Bible School, RHEMA, in ‘82/’83, and is working towards  a Masters in Theology.

 

For four years, Jeanie lived in Juiz de Fora, Minas Gerais, Brazil, where her main focus was her radio ministry, Voz de Cura (Voice of Healing), a daily Christian broadcast.

In 2007, Jeanie moved to Belo Horizonte, the capitol of Minas Gerais where she is a professor at Carisma Bible Seminary as well as pastor over the English Service of Lagoinha Baptist Church, a church of 37,000 members, the largest in Latin America.    Jeanie ministers in various areas including:  The Glory of God and Revival, the Healing Ministry of Jesus, and the Power of the Blood of Jesus.  The purpose of Voz de Cura is to minister God’s healing word to the whole man, spirit, soul and body.  She frequently hosts healing and prayer schools, evangelistic crusades and women’s meetings.   God has given her favor with various denominations including Baptist, Methodist, Presbyterian, Foursquare and Assembly of God.  Congregations are excited and transformed as they enjoy the presence of God in these meetings!
